Your career or the broom and Umbrella?

I came across this tweet on twitter from this twitter handle @henryshield and i felt like sharing my own thought too.

"ASSU has been on strike for months. In a normal society, students will attend every campaign rally the President is coming to, with placards, and make their voices heard aloud and clear.
Its an absurdity that our schools are shut while our campaign grounds are bubbling with funfare".

Isn't it obvious that the students in this country, most especially the ones in State and Federal tertiary institutions don't even take up the challenge to fight for their right? You or your parents or guardians pay tuition fees, and is not like your tuition fee is free but the FG messes up with your future and yet, you are seen in all rallies raising up brooms and umbrellas for only you know why.
Let me remind you that over 70% of their children are abroad studying.

I was once a student like all of you and of course i have experienced this ASSU strike that delayed my studies for a complete session (1 year).

Who are we waiting for to fight for us?

Let us begin to change our orientation on waiting for the day it gets better, you and i are the ones to make it better. If we start challenging our leaders on their ''I DON'T CARE ATTITUDE'' regarding our educational system, i bet you it will get better. If it doesn't now, but at least, we fought for the younger generation ahead.

What are you doing?
What role are you playing towards bringing an end to this?
Give it a thought!
Do something Now!!

This is an eye opener for all students.
True Malgwi, if only NANS would bring the students together for a peaceful protest, wouldn't be a bad step.
