(Photos) Notre-Dame de Paris (''Our Lady of Paris'') in flames

Yesterday about 18;50 O'clock local time, ''Our Notre-Dame of Paris'' was gutted by fire which brought down the Spire and the oak roof. It was speculated that an ongoing renovation work in the Cathedral caused the fire.





The President of France, Emmanuel Macron said about 400 firefighters helped to bring down the fire.
Billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault with a net worth of $31.5 billion, the 3rd richest man in France, 25th richest man in the world pledged to give €100 million towards renovation of the cathedral

And the owner of LVMH Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault among other reputable brand names , a French business magnate with a net worth of  $91.3 billion, the richest man in Europe, 4th richest man in the world and his family pledged to give €200 million for the restoration of the ''extraordinary cathedral''.
