#Xenophobia:Tiwa Savage cancelled her invitation to perform in South Africa on the 21st September 2019 over the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians, but it brought about mixed reactions

Tiwa Savage a Nigerian singer, celebrity, mother of one and a former artist with the Marvins Record took to her twitter account to announce her cancellation of the DSTV Delicious festival to hold on the 21st of September 2019 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
But a lot of people on twitter (probably from the South Africans) felt cancelling it is not their problem, some mocked her for that decision as it will not change a thing while others applaud her for taking that bold step.

Read her tweet below and people's reactions:

''I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this''

Recall that for the past few days its been a sad moment for Nigerians in South Africa as the South Africans attacked Nigerians, killing, burning Nigerians properties and stealing from their shops.
This started again on Sunday 1st September 2019 and the Nigerian President reacted yesterday by delegating envoys to go to South Africa which they are to arrive tomorrow Thursday 5th September to Oversee the situation and how it can be handled.

A lot of Nigerian Celebrities in the likes of Cynthia Nwodiora (CeeC), Burna Boy, Franklin Ubi,   took to their various social media handles to condemn this horrible attack on Nigerians.

South Africans have forgotten so soon how Nigerians stood for them during the Apartheid saga.
We shall all come out strong my fellow Nigerians.
