Happy birthday to the beautiful lady behind Shetu Agidi's Blog

On this fateful day 20th November, I Miss Agidi Shetu Rose who was born into the family of late Asp. Barr. and Mrs Ameri Agidi Ashige. Lucky me I belong to states, maternally I'm of Jaba extraction from Kaduna State, while paternally I'm a Koro babe from Ashige,  Lafia L. G. A. of Nasarawa state.

I had my nursery, primary and secondary education all in Jos, Plateau state; Plateau Urban Nursery school,  Salama Private school and GSS Laranto respectively.

In my quest to further my education, even with the demise of our Dad in 2009, I never relented in my oars. I got admission into Nasarawa State College of Education, where I studied hard until I had my NCE in English French. 

Thereafter, I proceeded to Nasarawa State University for my degree programme in French Language. Glory be to God with the support of Prof. Dinatu Iwala in securing the admission and voilà, I made it and graduated with a degree in BA French Hons, in addition to other certificates I received from other institutions;

Few amongst the certificates are  Attestation de participation Au Cours D'été at the Nigerian French Language Village at Badagry; Certificat de Stage Année  à l'étranger "Year Abroad" Village du  Bénin Lome, Togo; Certificat de Stage in translation; French to English,  English to French Lome, Togo.  Certificate for attending 70hrs of basic French Language Course at Alliance Française de Jos, French Cultural center, Plateau State.

Certificate of participation: training workshop for French Language Teachers by the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUPEB), Plateau state. Certificate of participation, Institute of Management Leadership and Productivity Development (IMLPD) etc.

Religiously, I believe in the Lord Jesus and while in the university, I worship with ECWA BCG Keffi, so much that I was honoured with 2 certificates for distinguishing myself to the service of the Lord as a church and in the choir.

My hobbies are adventure and travelling to explore,  reading to update, hanging out to refresh, dancing as a stress therapy and making friends to know more about humanity. 

I have travelled to quite a number of places across the nation and three French speaking countries, Benin Republic, Togo and Abidjan. I look forward to travelling to France.

On a day like this, my birthday, I choose to dedicate it to appreciating all that the Lord has done, is doing and will do for me. While I pray to remain closer to the Lord,  so as to positively touch lives to the glory of the Lord. In that way I believe I will be remembered for the smiles I put on people's faces and the impact on humanity.

Dear Lord, if I'm not humble, imbibe in me the spirit of humility to gain wisdom,  understanding and love to serve human race.

Its my day, welcome aboard my world!
